The ICCJ family regrets to inform you of the passing of our beloved member, Claire Heymann, ז״ל.
Claire passed away on Shabbat in her home in Queens. She was 100 years old.
She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Erich Heymann ז״ל.
She is survived by her children: Helen Siegel (Rick), Jane Heymann, Marlene Gold (Barry), and her grandchildren: Michelle Sung (Derek), Stephanie Wilcher (DC), Jonathan Gold (Lauren), Andrew Gold (Melanie), Elizabeth Blockman (Dan), Katie Gold (Cam) and nephew Martin Gurry. She was blessed with five great grandchildren: Ellie, Erich, Emma, Paxton, and Asher.
A CHAPEL funeral service will take place Monday, March 3 at 12:00 pm at Sinai Chapels (Schwartz Brothers), 114-03 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375. Interment will follow at 1:30 pm at Beth David Cemetery, 300 Elmont Rd, Elmont, NY 11003.
Shiva will be observed mostly at Claire’s home in Queens, except for one day (Wednesday) in New Rochelle, as follows:

Saturday after Shabbat.
At Marlene and Barry Gold’s home:
Wednesday 1-4 pm and 6:30-9 pm.
Those wishing to make donations in Claire‘s memory are suggested to donate to the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County, the Kupferberg Holocaust Center at Queensborough Community College, or ICCJ.
