Dear Members – current and future – of our very special congregation!
We hope this message finds everyone happy and well, and we wish all of you our very best for a joyous and healthy Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
The High Holidays are always an extraordinary opportunity to reconnect with old friends, make new friends, and express our gratitude for the year that has passed and our fervent wishes for the new year which is arriving.
We are honored to open our arms and embrace new members; each new member of our congregational family brings something unique and invaluable. Our current members of ICCJ – Israel Center for Conservative Judaism – invite you to come visit us, and, hopefully, join!
New members will find us to be a close-knit, friendly and inclusive community, deeply respectful of our Jewish heritage and offering a comprehensive variety of opportunities for spiritual growth, learning, socializing, and fun-filled activities. Our classes stimulate the intellect; our Social Action committee finds interesting and important ways to forge deeper involvement within our own community and the larger world; our recreational offerings provide stimulation for the body and the mind. ICCJ has an award-winning Religious School, an active Young Families Group, a Men’s Club and a Sisterhood, all of which provide generous circumstances for enrichment at every level of Judaism.
We have a cheerful, knowledgeable staff, a very energetic, friendly and caring rabbi, Rabbi Hillel Lavery-Yisraëli, and our cantor, Cantor Shiya Ribowsky, who together enhance our services with their invigorating and harmonious tempos. The staff and clergy are always happy to answer questions or deal with concerns.
Membership is FREE for young adults, up to age 30! Additionally, if you join prior to the holidays, you will receive a 10% discount on your first year’s dues and two free High Holiday tickets.
To reiterate, we wholeheartedly wish our growing congregation a joyful New Year, filled with many occasions for gratitude, and we look forward to seeing you as we celebrate the New Year.
Be an active part of the amazing sensation that is ICCJ!
Shanah Tovah,
Sam Weiss & David Schwartz,
Co-Presidents
